Wild Rice Soup

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup wild rice
  • 1/2 lb bacon
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1/3 cup chopped green pepper
  • 1 cup chopped celery
  • 2 cans chicken broth
  • 3 cans cream of mushroom soup

Directions

  1. Cook wild rice for at least 1 hour, rinse and drain.
  2. Saute bacon; drain.
  3. Saute onion
  4. Combine all ingredients in a crockpot and cook on high for a half day or all day on low.

Notes

  • Add a can of water if soup is too thick.
