My BBQ Rib recipe on the Kamado Joe or Big Green Egg:
First Preparation
- Pork Spare Ribs
- Preheat to 225 Degrees
- Cut St. Louis Style & Remove Rib Tips
- Remove Membrane
- Rib Rib Top
- Light Rib Rub Bottom
- Apple Wood Smoke Chips
- Use Rib Rack
First Hour
- Spray with Apple Juice after 30 min
- Spray with Apple Juice @ 1 Hour
Second Hour
- Spray with Apple Juice after 30 min
- Spray with Apple Juice @ 2 Hour
Third Hour
- Spray with Apple Juice after 30 min
- Spray with Apple Juice @ 3 Hour
Second Preparation
- Remove Ribs & Rib Rack
- Tin Foil and Sprinkle Brown Sugar & Honey
- Place Ribs Meat Down in Tin Foil
- Double Wrap with Tin Foil Air Tight
First & Second Hour
- Place Foil Wrapped Ribs Face Down
- Cook for 2 Hours
Third Preparation
- Remove Tin Foil
- Ribs Should Bend Easy
Final Hour
- Place Ribs Bone Down
- Parkay Butter after 15 Min
- At 30 Min BBQ Sauce
- Cook for Final 30 Minutes
