Angel Pie

Ingredients
Crust
- 4 egg whites
 
- 1 1/3 cups sugar
 
- pinch of salt
 
- 1 tsp. vinegar
 
- 1 tsp. vanilla
 
Filling
- 4 egg yolks
 
- 1/2 cup sugar
 
- 1 lemon juice & rind
 
- 1 1/2 cups whipped cream
 
Directions
Crust
- Heat oven to 300 - 325° F.
 
- Put whites of 4 eggs in bow, 1 1/3 cups of sugar, pinch of salt and beat until stiff.
 
- Add 1 tsp. vinegar & 1 tsp. vanila. Beat a little longer.
 
- Put batter in 9x13 pan
 
- Bake slow in oven for 1 hour
 
Filling
- Stir 4 egg yolkes, 1/2 cup sugar, juice & rind of 1 lemon until thick, sitring constantly
 
- Add 1 1/2 cups of whipped cream on top.
